PRESS: IKEA to return to pre-crisis revenue in Russia in 12–18 mos

MOSCOW, May 28 (PRIME) -- Swedish furniture retailer IKEA plans to return to the pre-crisis level of revenue in Russia in 12–18 months, Pontus Erntell, CEO and director for sustainable development at IKEA Retail Russia, told Kommersant business daily in an interview released on Thursday.

“I think during one to one year and a half, depending on the macroeconomic situation,” he said when asked a relevant question.

He also said that the share of online sales in IKEA’s revenue jumped to 85% from 11% over the past two months of the coronavirus pandemic.
